Julie Danaylov

Julie Danaylov, CSEP is excited to have founded VHP with this amazing team! Julie’s events industry experience spans a lifetime as her parents are accomplished musicians & founders of the Toronto entertainment firm, DeAngelis Entertainment Inc which has produced Juno-award winning albums and has catered to the GTA special events market for over 35 years. Julie’s credentials include Co-Founding A2D2 ~Aerial Dance Cirque Co with her two sisters Elisa & Samantha. She is also a former Past President of the ILEA Toronto Chapter, and past recipient of the Canadian Special Events “Spirit of the Industry” Award. Her volunteerism in the industry spans over decade. Julie is a proud vegan and fierce advocate for a sustainable events industry. VHP is Julie’s “passion project” and she remains excited to help grow VHP with colleagues across the country.

Greg Bell

Greg Bell is an accomplished Event Professional and has been working in the events business for more than 10 years. He has developed a quirky, conversational approach to business that has allowed him to examine the industry from an all-together different perspective. His belief in the work hard/play hard approach has helped him encourage and grow the team at his firm Decor & More since taking on the position of Vice-President in 2014. When designing an event Greg utilizes his love of, and training in, film to create events that have an impertinent and playful perspective. It is his belief that good event design is about telling an Oscar worthy story. He has served as the VP of Sponsorship, Finance & Director of the Marketing portfolio with ILEA Toronto Chapter. Greg is pumped to be growing VHP and believes whole-heartedly in philanthropic initiatives that give-back.

Alex Cheng

Alex is the founder of Boutique Websites. Boutique Websites has been a marketing expert in the Special Events Industry and has helped numerous event businesses craft effective marketing strategies and captivating website designs. He is the founder of the Toronto Events Network and has been featured as an expert in IGNITE Magazine and other industry outlets.

 

Alex is also a regular speaker in the special events industry and speaks about marketing, business and sales. Some organizations Alex has spoken at include Seneca College, WPICC, Special Events Boot Camp, etc.

 

Alex immediately volunteered to be part of the VHP team without hesitation. This website is designed, developed, and maintained by Alex and his team at Boutique Websites.

Sonia Bawa

Sonia’s 20 years of experience in the floral and events industry has been her journey of passion.  Growing up in a family that owned and operated multiple flower shops across the GTA.  Founder and creative director at J’adore Decor, Sonia has designed and provided florals and event decor for hundreds of events.  Alongside her business, Sonia is part of a dynamic floral wholesale team Westbrook Floral Ltd.   Her industry experience from both sides of the business has rounded out her knowledge base positioning her as an authentic expert in her field.  Sonia’s love for all things philanthropic made being part of the VHP team a no brainer! Her huge heart and generous soul are an invaluable asset to the VHP team.

Kyle Hosick

Kyle Hosick is the President of Toronto’s Addrenaline Media.  He is also Director of Marketing + Strategy for Décor & More Inc., Canada’s most-awarded event design firm and he is half of the recording act “Classick” which has seen successful placements in television and media productions.  His passion for music, culture and the digital age affords him a unique perspective on everything he touches. Kyle’s ever-burning entrepreneurial fire has brought him into the following roles over the course of his career: Former President of International Live Events Association Toronto; Former President of BizBash Media Toronto; Speaker and Moderator at Live BizBash events in NYC; Member of Advisory Council for Seneca College’s Event Design Program; Kyle is thrilled to be working with the team at VHP and is excited to help grow a sustainable, lasting model which grows exponentially.

Stacy Wyatt

Stacy Wyatt is the Founder of Canadian Special Events and an event marketing wiz kid. Stacy literally knows everyone and everything there is to know about the world of events in Canada. Since 2000 Stacy has been helping connect the event industry through her digital and print publications and the development of innovative live networking events. As co-founder of Canadian Special Events, Stacy drew on her diverse experience in planning large scale events, conferences and shows, to create a platform for event professionals and those who support them, to promote their work, share their expertise, seize business opportunities, and interact with each other. Today, Stacy remains the creative lead behind those initiatives and the brands she built; canadianspecialevents.com. She is thrilled to be part of the dynamic VHP team working towards a more sustainable events industry!
